Library Renovation and Closure Information

Library Renovation and COVID-19 Update:  August 20, 2020

We're starting curbside services on Monday, August 31. It's a week later than we originally planned because we had some significant unforeseen delays with our data lines, but we are working to get them fixed! Keep an eye out for more information!

Your materials are NOT DUE until we reopen. We will waive any fines accumulated between March 16th and our reopening date.

Library Reopening

NEWTON FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY RE-OPENING PLAN

The Newton Falls Public Library is excited to reopen to the public on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 for limited Grab & Go Services. The Library will also continue Curbside Delivery Services. We encourage patrons to limit their in-person visits to one hour or less.

Hours (Grab & Go and Curbside Delivery):

Monday – Friday:        10:00 AM – 11:00 AM is reserved for vulnerable populations

Seed Library

The library is pleased to provide our community with free seeds to support efforts to grow healthy food and teach children about food production. Seeds are available now! See below for the list of varieties.

There is no charge for seeds, but supplies may be limited. We cannot guarantee any seed availability or viability. Each packet contains enough seeds to produce 3-5 healthy plants.

The seed library was developed alongside our children’s garden program. The library will be distributing free plants in May and planting a garden over the summer.
