COVID-19 UPDATE REGARDING NEWTON FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY CONCERNING BOOK AND MEDIA DROPS
BOOK AND MEDIA DROPS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR THE RETURN OF LIBRARY MATERIALS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
As of March 24, 2020, the Newton Falls Public Library will be closed until further notice. In compliance with the stay-at-home order issued by the Ohio Department of Health, the renovation project will be put on hold until the order is lifted. At this current time, it is not possible for the Library to estimate when we will reopen with a temporary circulation space. We are asking all patrons to please hold onto all of your materials until further notice. Your materials are NOT DUE until the CLEVNET libraries reopen. Please also note that our courier service is unavailable and we are unable to transfer items to member libraries. Once the CLEVNET member libraries reopen and it is safe for our staff to handle your materials, we will reinstall the outside book and media drops. We will waive any fines accumulated between March 16th and our reopening date.
Additionally, fines will not be charged for CLEVNET materials currently on-loan.
Patrons are strongly advised not to leave materials outside the library as this could lead to stolen or damaged materials and the patron(s) would be charged for damages and/or replacement materials.
If you are concerned about overdue materials, please email email@example.com
